Overview

About this course

This is where you boost your productivity and make Claude Code and Codex dramatically faster and more capable. You'll build your own Skills and connect your AI to the everyday tools you already use with MCP servers so you can build and work directly through Codex and Claude Code instead of juggling a dozen different interfaces. You'll turn repeatable tasks into automations you trigger just by chatting, sharpen the context engineering that gets the right result the first time, and scale your projects through fast, iterative improvements.

This is a hands-on course where each week builds on the last. By the final session, you'll have a faster, tool-connected workflow, and the skills to keep leveling it up on any project.

Who this is for

  • Anyone already building with Claude Code / Codex who wants to go faster
  • Founders, PMs, and operators who've shipped an MVP or vibe coded in the past and want to move quicker
  • Builders of any background — business or technical — comfortable with Git and GitHub
  • Anyone ready to get more out of their AI coding assistants

The agenda

Week by week

  1. 01

    Saturday, July 11

    Foundations & Setup

Get your environment fully set up and learn to drive Codex and Claude Code from the terminal: safe permission modes, choosing a model and reasoning level from the current picker, planning, and continuing or resuming useful sessions. Then build a live, end-to-end automation without bypassing the safeguards on your laptop.

  2. 02

    Saturday, July 18

    Connect & Automate

The big unlock. Build your own Skills to turn repeatable tasks into automations you trigger just by chatting, then use MCP servers to connect Claude Code and Codex to the tools you already work in — your database, Notion, GitHub, and project-management apps. Add command-line power with CLIs like gh and the Google Workspace CLI, and automate around your workflow with pre- and post-Hooks.

  3. 03

    Saturday, July 25

    Agentic Workflows

Make the jump from one assistant doing tasks to planning specs and delegating across a team of specialized subagents. Spec-driven development, building and running agent teams (design and content-writing agents), and calling agents programmatically via API.

  4. 04

    Saturday, August 1

    Capabilities & Capstone

Bring it all together on a real, finished project. New capabilities like generating presentation decks, then combine spec-driven development, subagents, MCP, and hooks into one applied build — with time to review, troubleshoot, and demo what you shipped.

Weekly office hours

Wednesday office hours from 6–7 PM ET every week of the course — drop in, ask questions, get unblocked, and keep building.
